Based on a true story

This personal project reimagines the cover for one of my favourite books, Based on a True Story: Not a memoir by Norm Macdonald. It is not another celebrity memoir, it is a journey into the life and mind of the greatest comedian of all time, Norm Macdonald.

The redesign explores themes of unreliable narration, ghostwriting, absurd storytelling through fragmented narration and a deep dive into the this unreliable autobiography that will make you think, laugh and cry. Sometimes all at the same time as Norm and his ghostwriter takes you through his life and gambling struggles.
